Children with Disabilities


As a missions leader, you want to help every student carry out the Great Commission. This course is designed to give you tools to create a climate where each student is valued.

Children with Disabilities: Equipping Missions Leaders will give you a variety of interactive learning activities to introduce you to the basics of preparing all children to be involved in the mission of God.

Phyllis Mayfield, PhD, shares her experience with inclusion in the missions classroom.


Course Information

Children with Disabilities: Equipping Missions Leaders is a self-paced, 30-day course. You can work on each learning activity or assignment when it is most convenient for you for 30 days after registering for the class. Your registration day is considered one of the 30 days. You will be notified 2–3 days before the end of your 30-day course period and again when the 30 days have expired. If you need to extend your time, the course facilitator will be happy to help!
